Chicks started to hatch 11th May

Chicks fledegd 1st June.

10 hatched and 8 fledged -off to next door!!

A little about us

We live just outside Swindon on the Wiltshire/Oxfordshire border in the south of England. The site is updating daily, so if you want the latest info in Blue Tit Watch Land come back soon!

The Kit

The kit consists of a bird-box with a small camera in the lid, giving an overhead view of the goings on in the blue tit household. My kit came from Boxwatch.

It is connected to our PC via cable through a Euresys Junior 4 video Card. Using iCatcher Wildlife software we are able to show the world our family of blue tits via the internet.

We have had the box in place for 3 years now and have had a pair nesting every year, although this is the first year I have got around to putting together a website. Find out what happened each year by following the links.
